MISSION STATEMENT: The committee shall assist the GOCA Board of Directors (Board) in assuring the Communication between the Board, the approved Association Committees and the Residents through an Association Web Site.
COMMITTEE: The Web Committee shall initially consist of Seven (7) members appointed by the Board of Directors. Members will serve for a staggered two (2) year term. If committee members wish to remain on the committee after their term expires, they may reapply. The Board, in its sole discretion, shall appoint new members to fill open and expired terms. There shall be a Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary. The Chair (webmaster) shall preside over each meeting. The Vice-Chair (web administrator) shall be the spokesperson if the Chair is unavailable. The Secretary (web designer) will create and maintain meeting minutes. There must be a quorum for voting. No more than three (3) unexcused absences will be permitted by any committee member. If and when there is a need for additional members, the board will appoint the recommendation(s) of the Committee to the additional posts. No more than 7 members plus two back up alternates are envisioned.
