MISSION STATEMENT: It shall be the duty of the committee to attempt to resolve complaints from members on any matter involving association functions, duties, and activities within its field of responsibility, as delegated to it by the GOCA Board of Directors (Board) and pursuant to Section 13.05 of the Bylaws.
COMMITTEE: The committee shall consist of no more than seven (7) members appointed by the Board. Each member will serve a staggered two (2) year term. Members may not be on the Board. If committee members wish to remain on the committee after their term expires, they may reapply. The Board, in its sole discretion, shall appoint new members to fill open and expired terms. There will be a chair, vice-chair, and secretary. The chair will preside over each meeting. The vice-chair will be the spokesperson if the chair is unavailable. There must be a quorum present for voting. No more than (5) unexcused absences will be permitted by any committee member.
